Carolina Ladies Billfish Classic

June 16th - 18th, 2025 - Charleston Harbor Marina

The Carolina Ladies Billfish Classic is back for its second year, celebrating women in sportfishing and supporting a cause close to home. Artist and assistant tournament director, Bryn Roff, helped launch the tournament in 2024 and returns this year, also donating a one-of-a-kind faux teak marlin surfboard to the silent auction. All proceeds benefit Share Our Suzy (S.O.S.), a Lowcountry nonprofit supporting women battling breast cancer. Last year, the event raised over $27,000, and it’s just getting started.

Bryn Roff donated a custom faux teak marlin surfboard to the HMY Lowcountry Cup silent auction. While she has been painting surfboards since 2018, this was her first time using her signature faux teak style on a board. Featuring a bold hand painted marlin and woodgrain finish. The piece quickly drew attention and marked a new direction in her coastal-inspired artwork. Proceeds from the auction benefited Captains for Clean Water.

For the 2025 Lowcountry Mahi Invitational, artist Bryn Roff created a custom faux teak painting featuring a vibrant, hand-painted mahi mahi. The piece was started live at the Captain’s Meeting and later personalized with the winning angler’s name and boat. Awarded as the 1st place prize during the May awards ceremony, this one-of-a-kind artwork captured the energy of the tournament and reflected Bryn’s signature blend of sportfishing and craftsmanship.
